Melanie McKenzie Joins Watermark
CALGARY, AB—With a continued view towards supporting changes to their brand positioning, leadership and value proposition, Watermark, announced that Melanie McKenzie has joined the company as Vice President, Client Services.
McKenzie brings over two decades of business experience including marketing and advertising agency management experience to Watermark.
She has a solid track record in developing integrated marketing communications programs for clients in a vast array of industries including travel and tourism, hospitality, technology, post-secondary, retail, energy and utilities, commercial and residential real estate and not-for-profit.
She has worked with a variety of clients (both client and agency side) including Tripeze.com/Sears Travel, Travel Alberta International, Shaw Communications, Corus, WestJet, SAIT Polytechnic, Travelodge/Thriftlodge, Fortis Inc., Kwantlen Polytechnic University, The University of Lethbridge, Mac’s Convenience Stores, Canadian Cancer Society, Alberta Cancer Board, Alberta Theatre Projects and Calgary International Film Festival.
McKenzie's areas of expertise include strategic planning and implementation, account direction and client relationship management, communications and engagement strategy planning, brand management, project management and integrated program delivery.
Before joining Watermark, Melanie served over a decade as Director, Client Services with Creative Intelligence. Prior to that, she worked both agency and client side with companies such as TBWA/Chiat/Day (formerly Bryant, Fulton and Shee) and Tripeze.com (now SearsTravel).
